St. Barnabas, at 6006 Girard Ave. in Philadelphia, is a shelter for homeless women and their chidren. Good Shepherd has been supporting them for about 10 years. Therese Rawson and Mary Ann McCluney alternate taking baby supplies (formula, diapers, wipes, etc) and personal care items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, anti-perspirant, sanitary equipment, etc) to them about once a month. Sometimes they need special things, so we try to let people know via the bulletin or word of mouth. Next time you go to the store, pick up some small item for the Mission.
